Mystery Creatures

I discovered several new creatures the past several days. Well...some I've seen before but was not convinced that they were new.

Unidentified slug snail:

Snail Babies!

First of all. My tank chemistry finally reads:

Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 0 ppm.

So that's nice. Also, I've got baby snails and lots of eggs.

Finally, some stuff!

Today I finally added salt, sand, and rock to the tank. I'm pretty excited. I can't wait till it's finished cycling so I can add some fishies.



It doesn't look crazy blue like that in person. I need to figure out how to take a picture of it without it looking stupid.

Got my fish tank

On Friday I bought my aquarium! It's a 6 gallon JBJ nanocube. I'm already looking into how I can upgrade the lighting. I'm not if I'm going to need to upgrade the powerhead or not. Hopefully not. I'll be leaving the tank empty until next month because a) No more money b) Me and Natalie are going on vacation for a week at the end of the month and I want to be there when the tank cycles. I guess this will give me a good amount of time to make a choice about the rock and sand I'll use.
